Vegas native Tevin Witt aka TevinEleven – (because why not use your real name as your DJ name when it’s that cool) – is popular for his intergalactic scarves, accessorizing with finger hands, never being without a fan and crazy snap chat stories and it’s undeniable that Tevin’s quirky, rad personality comes out in his music.
Recognized for his genre hopping mixes on SoundCloud in the Winter of 2014 it was Co-founder of Artist Mafia Music, Quixote, who was inspired and compelled to reach out to Tevin. The two cliqued instantly and soon Tevin began to develop himself more as a performing artist. With support from friends and mentors, Tevin played his first show in Downtown Las Vegas in April of 2015 and has since been seen groovin’ in the DJ booth at Midnight in Eden: The Summer Solstice and various Venues around Las Vegas.
Drawing musical influence from a variety of genres, Tevin is inspired by the likes of Shiba San, Mija, Jauz and older Dillion Francis records, circa 2011.
Tevin’s mixes are limitless, all while keeping it weird and he can’t go a set without playing “Let’s Jack”. He has that “je ne sais quoi” that leaves you wanting more.
TevenEleven became one of the first DJ’s to join the artist mafia family in August of 2015, and described the feeling as “humbling,” and that he felt “very appreciated”.
As he continues to make us dance and feel the vibe with his mixes and performances, it won’t be long before we are seeing TevinEleven on the lineup of prominent festivals.
